Editing the Block Diagram<br />

For manual editing of the block diagram the automatic calculation of the block diagram<br />

must be turned off. <strong>TrainController</strong> provides powerful <strong>and</strong> intuitive tools for editing<br />

of the block diagram <strong>and</strong> for insertion of blocks <strong>and</strong> routes to this diagram.<br />

Blocks are displayed on the computer screen by rectangular boxes. The blocks are connected<br />

by routes. These routes are drawn as lines. The routes in manually created block<br />

diagrams must be recorded as outlined in section 14.8, “Extended Route”.<br />

Please note that the block diagram represents the track layout in rough outline. The actual<br />

track connection between “Main Line West” <strong>and</strong> “Hidden Yard 3”, for example,<br />

contains two turnouts. These turnouts are not drawn in the block diagram in detail or as<br />

separate objects. Instead a route between both blocks is created, that indicates, that there<br />

is a track connection between both blocks.<br />

In order to create the block diagram perform the following steps:
