Stabile,infine, il Belgio (+0,2 per cento inquant<strong>it</strong>à e +3,9 per cento in valore).Prosegue con successo la marciadell’export salumi verso i mercatiExtra UE. Nel periodo gennaio/settembrele esportazioni hannoraggiunto l’importante traguardodelle 22.921 tonnellate (+11,6per cento) per 186,1 milioni di euro(+15,5 per cento).Dopo il notevole avvio d’anno, el’otti<strong>mo</strong> 2° trimestre nel terzo trimestrela performance verso questimercati si è mantenuta buonaevidenziando una cresc<strong>it</strong>a del 4,4per cento in quant<strong>it</strong>à e del 13,4per cento in valore. Un risultatoquesto importante soprattutto sesi considera che sconta l’effettoconfronto con un 3 trimestre 2011eccellente.Decisive si sono confermate leesportazioni verso gli Stati Un<strong>it</strong>i,che hanno raggiunto quota 4.206tonnellate (+20,6 per cento) per48,1 milioni di euro (+29,1 percento), evidenziando brillanti risultatiin tutti e tre i trimestri.Principale traino del nostro exportverso gli Usa si sono confermatigli invii di prosciutti crudi stagionati(+20,2 per cento in quant<strong>it</strong>à e+28,2 per cento in valore), cui hannofatto eco le spedizioni di prosciutticotti (+44 per cento in quant<strong>it</strong>à+58,5 per cento in valore).Pos<strong>it</strong>ivo, ma in attenuazione iltrend verso la Croazia che ha toccatoquota 4.702 tonnellate (+6,9per cento) per 11,8 milioni di euro(+1,9 per cento). Il Paese si è cosìconfermato prima piazza di riferimentofra i mercati extra UE conriferimento ai quant<strong>it</strong>ativi esportatipur rimanendo al quarto posto conriferimento ai valoreHanno chiuso in flessione il periodogli invii di salumi verso la Svizzera(-1,3 per cento per 3.475 tonnellatee -0,9 per cento per 50,6milioni di euro), pri<strong>mo</strong> mercato didestinazione con riferimento al fatturato.Nonostante il perdurare delsegno meno, i nostri salumi hannorecuperato nel terzo trimestre partedel terreno perduto nei sei mesiprecedenti. I nostri prodotti sembranoquindi aver recuperato partedello svantaggio dovuto alla presenzasu questo mercato di grandicatene estere che hanno favor<strong>it</strong>ol’accesso dei propri produttori.Si sono consolidati i successi maturativerso il Giappone (+28,8 percento in quant<strong>it</strong>à e +25,6 per centoin valore), il Canada (+29,3 percento e +34,9 per cento), la FederazioneRussa (+34,4 per centoe +34,4 per cento), Hong Kong(+19,5 per cento e +20,9 per cento)e la Bosnia Erzegovina (+15,9per cento e +22,6 per cento). Fra iPaesi più promettenti da notare lacrescente presenza dei nostri prodottiin Brasile (+23,5 per cento inquant<strong>it</strong>à e +31,5 per cento in valore)arrivati a 424 tonnellate per3,4 milioni di euro.Chiusura negativa, infine, per il Libano(-8 per cento e -2,9 per centoin valore).nConsu<strong>mo</strong> di carni trasformate e malattie: precisazione da AssicaIn riferimento allo studiopubblicato sulla rivista scientificaBmc Medicine “Meatconsumption and <strong>mo</strong>rtal<strong>it</strong>y– results from the EuropeanProspective Investigation intoCancer and Nutr<strong>it</strong>ion” cherileva una <strong>mo</strong>derata correlazionetra un elevato consu<strong>mo</strong>di carni trasformate (piùdi 160 grammi al giorno) eil rischio di <strong>mo</strong>rte precoce,Assica, Associazione Industrialidelle Carni e dei Salumir<strong>it</strong>iene di specificare che:il lim<strong>it</strong>e di 160 grammi di carn<strong>it</strong>rasformate al giorno (ognigiorno) sopra il quale i ricercatoriavrebbero individuatoun lim<strong>it</strong>ato rischio potenziale,è pari a più di quattro volteil consu<strong>mo</strong> medio in Italia.Questo lim<strong>it</strong>e sarebbe infattisuperato da un consumatoreche mangiasse ogni singologiorno della sua v<strong>it</strong>a piùdi un etto e mezzo di salumi.Una quant<strong>it</strong>à non compatibilecon le nostre ab<strong>it</strong>udinialimentari. Secondo gli stessidati <strong>mo</strong>n<strong>it</strong>orati nell’amb<strong>it</strong>odel medesi<strong>mo</strong> gruppo di ricerca,infatti, gli <strong>it</strong>aliani mangianoin media tra 12,5 e 38grammi di carni trasformateal giorno. L’Ist<strong>it</strong>uto Nazionaledi Ricerca per gli Alimentie la Nutrizione rileva unamedia di 30,7 grammi. L’Italiaè, dopo la Grecia, il paesedove si consuma il minorquant<strong>it</strong>ativo di carni trasformate(meno della metàrispetto alla Germania e oltreun terzo in meno rispettoa Danimarca, Svezia o Spagna).Questo nuovo studio, quindi,conferma che il fattore dirischio principale è determinatoda uno stile di v<strong>it</strong>a scorretto(dieta squilibrata, pocaattiv<strong>it</strong>à fisica, fu<strong>mo</strong>, ecc.). Iconsumatori possono quindicontinuare ad acquistaree consumare i salumi <strong>it</strong>aliani,come sempre hanno fatto,all’interno di una dieta variaed equilibrata.L’industria alimentare e i produttoridi salumi <strong>it</strong>aliani hannoa cuore la qual<strong>it</strong>à e la salubr<strong>it</strong>àdei loro prodotti.
