It ishighly disappointing to see thatthe Council has taken a differentstand on this by adopting a voluntarycharacter for degressiv<strong>it</strong>y andcapping of payments”, Mr. CapoulasSantos added.“Parliament has been requestingthe results of negotiations on thenational envelopes that seem tohave been sorted over the MFFnegotiations. Le caratteristichepeculiari della “MelaRossa Cuneo” sono cost<strong>it</strong>u<strong>it</strong>edalla caratteristica sovracolorazionerossa della buccia,che influisce sull’aspettodel prodotto sia per quantoriguarda l’estensione del sovracoloresia sulla particolarebrillantezza della colorazionedell’epicarpo. Questecaratteristiche conferisconoalla “Mela Rossa Cuneo”una propria specifica ident<strong>it</strong>ànei mercati locali, regionali,nazionali ed esteri.La Dop “Ficodindia di SanCono” è riservata ai fruttiprovenienti dalle seguenticultivar della specie “OpunziaFicus Indica”: “Surfarina”detta anche “Gialla” o “Nostrale”— “Sanguigna” dettaanche “Rossa” — “Muscaredda”o “Sciannarina” dettaanche “Bianca”. È ammessaanche una percentuale nonsuperiore al 5 per cento degliecotipi locali delle selezionidi “Trunzara”. Tra le caratteristichedistintive del “Ficodindiadi San Cono” si annoveranole grandi dimensionidei frutti, la buccia dai coloriintensi e vivi, un profu<strong>mo</strong><strong>mo</strong>lto delicato e un sapore<strong>mo</strong>lto dolce. La dolcezza ele dimensioni del “Ficodindiadi San Cono” rispetto ad altrezone di produzione sicilianerisultano essere degliimportanti parametri distintivipoiché correlati alla tipic<strong>it</strong>àdella zona geografica.
