haibh na poibleach, agas ar gach vile<br />

dhith no sgrios, da dtug Satan ar Hea-<br />

gluis fein, a Athair na trocaire, fgaoil<br />

do mhaithis ar gach duine is leat fein.<br />

Iondas tare'is ar dtreighthe fe'in duin,<br />

go ndaingnithear find fa dhdchas, &<br />

forwarde in doing their indevours towardes him : and if thou take<br />

him from them, then <strong>of</strong> thy goodnes to comfort them, so as they<br />

may paciently beare suche departing, and prayse thy Name in all<br />

things. Also, O heavenly Father, vouchesafe to have pitie on all<br />

other sicke persons, and such as be by any other wayes or means<br />

afflicted, and also on those who as yet are ignorant <strong>of</strong> thy trueth,<br />

and apperteine neverthelesse unto thy kingdome.<br />

In like manner on those that suffer persecution, tormented<br />

in prisones, or otherwise troubled liy the enemies <strong>of</strong> the veritie,<br />

for bearing testimonie to the same. Finally, on all the necessities<br />

<strong>of</strong> thy people, and upon all the ruins or decayes which Satan<br />

hath brought upon thy Church. O Father <strong>of</strong> mercy! spread<br />

forth thy goodnes upon all those that be thine ; that we, forsaking<br />

our selves, may be the more inflamed and confirmed,<br />
