I). To keep the commandments <strong>of</strong> God perfectly so far as in our<br />

power, and to observe the holy sacraments in the church <strong>of</strong><br />

God, as seals and signs <strong>of</strong> our salvation.<br />

appoint them but God, who by the power <strong>of</strong> his Spirit works<br />

salvation in the hearts <strong>of</strong> men when they are received by them.<br />
