as one that rather seketh to ]3rotTit then to contend. And if so be
any contencion rise, then suche as are appointed moderatours,
either satisfie the partie, or els if he seme to cavill, exhorte hym to
kepe silence, referring the judgement therof to the ministers and
elders, to be detennined in their assemblie or Consistorie before
mencioned.
When the Congregation is assemliled at the houre appointed, the Minister
useth one of these two Confessions, or lyke in effect, exhorting the people
diligently to examine them selves, following in their hartes the tenor of hib
words.
