sanctioned during the year include pre-construction study<br />

<strong>of</strong> Kasang HEP Stage-1 <strong>of</strong> HPSEB, database, training,<br />

commercial system for reform awareness <strong>of</strong> PSEB, Loss<br />

diagnostic study in Ajmer Discom, RLA&LE studies <strong>of</strong><br />

Chittaura, Salawa & Bhola hydro power house <strong>of</strong> UPJVNL,<br />

Study for development <strong>of</strong> fund flow pattern and accounting<br />

system in Tripura etc. Major studies completed during<br />

the year under review include R&M/LE Study <strong>of</strong> Nirgajini<br />

HEP & Matatila HEP <strong>of</strong> UPJVNL, RLA & LE Study <strong>of</strong> Paras<br />

& Koradi TPS <strong>of</strong> MSEB, Study for preparation <strong>of</strong> Good<br />

Governance Code <strong>of</strong> UPPCL, etc.<br />

During the year 2005-06, <strong>Power</strong> Finance Corporation has<br />

sanctioned grants amounting to Rs.239 lacs and disbursed<br />

Rs.312 lacs to various power utilities in the state sector for<br />

reform, restructuring, development and computerization<br />

as on 31.12.2005. PFC also sanctioned a concessional<br />

loan amounting to Rs.23.95 crore and disbursed Rs.3.47<br />

crore up to 31.12. 2005.<br />

13. INDUSTRIAL RELATION, SOCIAL SECURITY, HUMAN<br />

RESOURCE DEVELOPMENT & REPRESENTATION OF<br />

WOMEN EMPLOYEES<br />

The Industrial Relations within the organization have<br />

been very cordial and harmonious with each employee<br />

committing himself/herself entirely to the objectives <strong>of</strong> the<br />

organization. In the year 2004-05, Per Capita Business<br />

(Disbursement) stood at Rs.34.84 crore and Pr<strong>of</strong>it after<br />

tax at Rs.3.63 crore, which bears testimony to the sound<br />

organizational culture prevailing in the corporation.<br />

A comprehensive package to ensure social securities is<br />

in place in PFC which inter-alias includes contributory<br />

Sagardighi Thermal <strong>Power</strong> Project, (2x300 MW) <strong>of</strong> West Bengal <strong>Power</strong> Development Corporation Limited funded by PFC<br />
