Implementation agreement for these projects have<br />
been signed by THDC with GOU in Nov-05. MOEF has<br />
accorded Stage-I environmental clearance for five projects<br />
except Bokang Bailing Project as the proposed Project<br />
site is coming under Askot Musk Deer Sanctuary. CEA<br />
has recommended Cost Estimates for Stage-I activities<br />
<strong>of</strong> all the six projects. Survey & Investigation works for<br />
preparation <strong>of</strong> Feasibility Report have been taken up.<br />

HUMAN RESOURCE MANAGEMENT<br />
The Corporation has always endeavored for utilizing<br />
the human resource most effectively. As the corporation<br />
is heading towards achieving the commissioning <strong>of</strong> the<br />
project, the most important task for entering into operation<br />
& maintenance phase <strong>of</strong> the project has been the focus<br />
<strong>of</strong> re-engineering the human resource. As a step towards<br />
enhancing organization effectiveness, Indian Institute<br />
<strong>of</strong> Management (IIM) Ahmedabad has been engaged<br />
for providing consultancy for “Organisational Diagnosis<br />
Exercise and Effective Human Resource Management<br />
System”.<br />
Apart from assessing the strategic HR orientation, the<br />
study will bring about identifying attitudes, values, belief<br />
and the work culture. This will lead to developing the<br />
Organizational frame work.<br />
Under the HR initiatives, various Personnel Policies were<br />
updated/reviewed. The Corporation actively participated<br />
in the HR Meets organized by <strong>Power</strong> HR Forum, an<br />
Association <strong>of</strong> Central <strong>Power</strong> Sector Undertakings.<br />
