According to the Reporting cards of Moldovan citizens and<br />

the socio-study realized with the World Bank support for a Swiss<br />

Agency for the international Development and Cooperation in<br />

2010, even if the access to computers grows, they are not so much<br />

used for education.<br />

• 40% - use Internet (this is the average for the country)<br />

• 80% - people between 16-25 years old<br />

• 70% - is used for games<br />

• 64% - Downloading movies ,music<br />

• 59% - watching movies<br />

According to Magenta National Screening done by Magenta<br />

Consulting done in July 2010, (1400 respondents, in 24 urban<br />

places of our country).<br />

- 57% - have access to internet<br />

- 88% - are active on social sites<br />

The older generation teachers are mainly afraid of computers.<br />

In villages where there is a lack of teachers, one person could teach<br />

two subjects.<br />

• Internet<br />

• Televison<br />

• Multi-channel learning<br />

• Satellite<br />

The talking book<br />

• It is a very simple ICT used in countries and places that do<br />

not have electricity or other IT’s.<br />

It can be used for either children or grown-ups and can<br />

improve the reading and listening skills while, at the same time<br />

seems to work as a very attractive new way to have the attention of<br />

students concentrated on learning.<br />

Radio<br />

Radio programs on every aspect of life are available,<br />

making the medium particularly useful for content based foreign<br />

language instruction.
