(57) Abstract :
Disclosed is a method for masking data in an enterprise application that includes identifying a plurality of data fields having the
data of the enterprise application. The method further includes receiving a user input for selecting one or more data fields from the
plurality of data fields. The method also includes receiving a user input for selecting one or more masking methods from a
plurality of masking methods. Furthermore, the method includes automatically identifying presence, occurrence and relationships
of the selected one or more data fields for consistently masking the data in the selected one or more data fields across the
enterprise application. Moreover, the method includes executing the selected one or more masking methods for masking the data
in the selected one or more data fields. Further, disclosed is a system for masking the data in the enterprise application.
