(57) Abstract :
The present invention is directed to a composition for treating diaper rashes, along with skin rejuvenation containing a) a
biopolymer in the form of Chitosan, b) active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs), namely Miconazole Nitrate, used in treating
diaper rash, c) a cream base containing primary and secondary emulsifiers, waxy materials, co-solvents, acids, preservatives,
buffering agents, anti oxidants, chelating agents, and humectants, and d) water. The active ingredients, namely chitosan, a anti
diaper rash active agent in the form of Miconazole Nitrate, are incorporated in cream base for use in treating diaper rashes due to
allergy & itching, & wounds on human skin involving contacting human skin with the above identified composition.
