(57) Abstract :<br />

This invention relates to a mobile scalding tank for scalding birds comprising <strong>of</strong> a double jacketed tank with a heating element <strong>and</strong><br />

temperature regulator. The tank is advantageous over circular scalding tanks that, it is effective in heating the water maintaining<br />

temperature <strong>of</strong> scalding water for hygienic defeathering <strong>of</strong> birds. The scalding tank maintains the temperature very well <strong>and</strong> water<br />

can be changed frequently. So that, cleanliness <strong>of</strong> water can be maintained to produce wholesome chicken carcass by eliminating<br />

most <strong>of</strong> the pathogens.<br />
