functional silica particles having 5 um to 15 um of the average particle size and 600 rxr/g to 800 m2/g of the BET specific surface
area, wherein the amount of component (B) is 0.05 to 20 % by weight of total amount of components (A) and (B). has an excellent
light diffusing property and a high total light transmittance. inhibits discoloration, when melt-processed or used.
