Apparatus for the automatic metering infrastructure (AMI) configured for secured communication module in smart energy grid<br />

gateway comprising <strong>of</strong> a mesh network including at least one cell incorporating a plurality <strong>of</strong> node devices, wherein the node<br />

devices are sensors <strong>and</strong> / or metering devices, <strong>and</strong> at least some <strong>of</strong> which node devices are organized into at least one cell, with<br />

such mesh network configured for bi-directional communications among the plurality <strong>of</strong> node devices; a base computer system<br />

with built-in transceiver <strong>and</strong> artificial intelligence for local display <strong>of</strong> data <strong>and</strong> control; wherein the transceiver is configured for<br />

onward transmission <strong>of</strong> data to the data center <strong>and</strong> transmit control messages to the node devices; <strong>and</strong> wherein said node devices<br />

are configured for receiving messages from said transceiver, <strong>and</strong> based thereon, sorting <strong>and</strong> selecting neighbors there<strong>of</strong> so as to<br />
