This present disclosure relates to providing an improved hearing aid solution. In an embodiment, the disclosure relates to<br />

identifying b<strong>and</strong>s <strong>of</strong> the signal where feedback occurs. The disclosure then provides for a method <strong>of</strong> sub-b<strong>and</strong> feedback<br />

cancellation technique to remove the feedback from the identified b<strong>and</strong>s. In an embodiment, an adaptive notch filter is used to<br />

isolate human speech from the feedback <strong>and</strong> improving the sound quality.<br />
