roles of women, sexism, urban and<br />
rural societies, population patterns,<br />
cultural mores, use of leisure time, and<br />
differing life patterns. Such disciplines<br />
as the behavioral sciences, economics,<br />
and political sciences are involved<br />
in enhancing the counselor/client<br />

Introductory survey of historical roots,<br />
major theories, intervention strategies,<br />
research and current training, practice<br />
and ethical issues in marriage and family<br />
counseling.<br />
human sexuality (3 cr.)<br />
This is an introductory graduate-level<br />
course dealing with all areas of human<br />
sexuality which a person might encounter<br />
in day-to-day living. Topics include:<br />
sexual terminology, the human body,<br />
expressing our sexuality, heterosexuality,<br />
homosexuality, pornography, sex<br />
education, sex offenses, sexual<br />
dysfunction, and sex therapy.
