credit hours in residence and meet the requirements<br />

of the School of Business and Economics and of the<br />

concentration in which they are candidates. Students<br />

awarded the Bachelor of Science in Business at IU<br />

<strong>South</strong> <strong>Bend</strong> may register as special students to meet the<br />

requirements of another concentration, but cannot be<br />

certified for the degree a second time.<br />

The School of Business and Economics reserves the<br />

right to specify any additional course requirements or<br />

repetition of previously taken courses in order to ensure<br />

that a student’s second Bachelor of Science or second<br />

area of concentration is compatible with the school’s<br />

current academic objectives.<br />

Degree requirements<br />

The 123 credit hour undergraduate curricula for students<br />

majoring in business administration consists essentially<br />

of three parts: the campuswide general-education<br />

core, the basic business administration core, and the<br />

professional courses for a specific concentration.<br />

The following is a list of the courses and credit hours that<br />

all undergraduate curricula require. In certain curricula<br />

concentrations, specific campuswide general-education<br />

courses are required within the seven groups of courses<br />

listed. Students must attain a grade of not less than a C in<br />

any of those courses marked with an asterisk (*).<br />

Campuswide General Education<br />

campuswide general-education requirements, including<br />

lists of approved courses, see pages 35-40 in this<br />

publication.<br />

All courses certified as meeting the campuswide general-education<br />

requirements are designated in the Schedule of Classes.<br />
