Seaton Urban Study Area
The Seaton Urban Study Area, in conjunction with the
adjacent Open Space System, defines the maximum limit of
the urban area of Seaton. As outlined in Chapter Two, a
planning exercise will establish appropriate land use
designations and policies for Seaton, which will be added by
amendment to this Plan.
Until the land use designations and policies are established,
only agricultural and agricultural related uses, conservation,
environmental protection, restoration, passive recreation,
and existing lawful uses may be permissible.

3.13 City Council,
(a) shall recognize as the Seaton Urban Study
Area on Schedule I, those lands, along with
the adjacent Open Space System, located
north of the South Pickering Urban Area
and east of the West Duffins Creek, south of
Highway 7; and
(b) until completion of an appropriate planning
exercise for Seaton, may zone lands
designated Seaton Urban Study Area for one
or more purposes as set out in Table 14.
