(d) as a high priority, prepare a traffic-calming<br />

implementation plan for Whitevale in consultation<br />

with the village residents, and the Region <strong>of</strong><br />

Durham where necessary, and undertake a staged<br />

program <strong>of</strong> traffic calming measures in keeping<br />

with the intended function <strong>of</strong> the roads;<br />

(e) request the Region <strong>of</strong> Durham to construct a<br />

by-pass for Altona Road at the west end <strong>of</strong><br />

Whitevale concurrent with the construction <strong>of</strong><br />

Highway 407/Transitway; and D22<br />

(f) consider the sale <strong>of</strong> the unopened Centre Street<br />

Road allowance for uses in accordance with the<br />

designation on Schedule IV-2.<br />
