(e) the alignment <strong>of</strong> future roads and any<br />

trails designated on the Schedules are<br />

diagrammatic and minor realignments<br />

may be made without notice and without<br />

amendment to the <strong>Plan</strong> provided the<br />

general purpose and intent <strong>of</strong> this <strong>Plan</strong> are<br />

maintained;<br />

(f) the boundaries <strong>of</strong> Detailed Review Areas<br />

and Rural Study Areas, and the location <strong>of</strong><br />

proposed schools, parks or other<br />

community facilities on Schedules and<br />

maps are approximate;<br />

(g) in the event that a single parcel <strong>of</strong> land is<br />

governed by two or more separate land use<br />

designations, the policies <strong>of</strong> each <strong>of</strong> the<br />

respective designations shall apply to that<br />

portion <strong>of</strong> the parcel so designated;<br />

(h) despite 14.2(b), (d) and (g), and following<br />

consultation with the Region, minor<br />

expansions to the hamlets <strong>of</strong> Greenwood,<br />

Kinsale and Balsam may be permitted<br />

without amending the hamlet boundary or<br />

land use designations on Schedule I or<br />

Schedules IV-5, IV-9, and IV-12; and<br />

(i) for lands on the Oak Ridges Moraine, minor<br />

changes and refinements to Schedule III<br />

based on updated information from the<br />

Province or as a result <strong>of</strong> detailed studies,<br />

such as those noted above, will not require<br />

an amendment to this <strong>Plan</strong>, and, where the<br />

feature is a wetland, an area <strong>of</strong> natural and<br />

scientific interest and/or significant portions<br />

<strong>of</strong> the habitat <strong>of</strong> endangered, rare and<br />

threatened species, or their related<br />

minimum vegetation protection zones,<br />

proposed refinements to the boundary or<br />

the extent <strong>of</strong> the feature requires formal<br />

confirmation from the Province prior to any<br />

development.<br />

14.3 <strong>City</strong> Council acknowledges that an indication<br />

<strong>of</strong> a future road, park and/or other service or<br />

facility does not constitute a commitment by<br />

the <strong>City</strong>, the Region or the Province to provide<br />

such a service or facility at such location at a<br />

particular point in time, nor assume approvals<br />

under other statutes; rather it is the <strong>City</strong>’s<br />

statement <strong>of</strong> general intent and location.<br />
