be. He will give information as to the position of the Navy Office, the office
of the District Naval Officer, and the facilities for reaching these offices. He
will also explain the rank and status of the Senior Naval Officer.
11. Should a foreign Man-of-war, commanded by an officer of lower rank
than a Captain, arrive in Hobson's Bay, the Naval Board, in the absence of
the Admiral or Commodore Commanding the Fleet, may direct that the visits
of ceremony be carried out reciprocally between the officer in command of
such vessel and the Senior Naval Officer.
12. Notwithstanding that the Flag of the Admiral or Commodore Commanding
may be flying in Hobson's Bay, or that the Officer in Command of
the foreign Man-of-war may be of lower rank than Captain, special arrangements
will, if considered necessary, be made for a visit to the Naval Board.
