Consequent on the above, Article 9 of the Financial Regulations (Seagoing)<br />
is amended as from 1st December, 1921, by adding new clause (17A)<br />
immediately after clause (17) to read as follows :—<br />

AMENDMENT OF FINANCIAL REGULATIONS (SEA-GOING)-<br />
UNIFORM CLOTHING.<br />
The following amendments of Financial Regulations (Sea-going) have been<br />
approved as from 1st January, 1922 :—<br />
(1) Article 6, clause (5) (as amended by <strong>Navy</strong> Order No. 473/1921), is<br />
amended by omitting the words "Article 80'' in the fourth line and<br />
inserting in their stead " Article 80A ".<br />
(2) Article 6, clause (8), is amended by omitting the words ' : (as laid<br />
down in the Uniform Regulations) " in the fourth line and inserting in<br />
their stead " (as laid down in Article 80B) ".<br />
(3) Article 80 is omitted, and the following inserted in its stead :—<br />
" Article 80—Kits.—The following shall be the kits of ratings in<br />
the <strong>Royal</strong> <strong>Australian</strong> <strong>Navy</strong> :—<br />
CLASS I.—CHIEF PETTY OFFICERS.<br />
(a) Compulsory Kit.<br />
1 Jacket, D.B., diagonal serge.<br />
1 Jacket, S.B., serge.<br />
4 Tunics, drill .. . . 2 only for Officers' Chief<br />
Stewards.<br />
3 Tunics, drill, with blue facings . . Officers' Chief Stewards<br />
