AMENDMENT OP REGULATIONS AND INSTRUCTIONS FOR THE
ROYAL AUSTRALIAN NAVAL RESERVE.
The following amendment to the Regulations and Instructions for the
Royal Australian Naval Reserve 1922, has been approved :—
125.
Article 186 is repealed, and following new article is to be inserted in
its stead :—
186. Ordnance and Ordnance Stores.—The instructions contained
in O.U. 5205, " Instructions for Ordnance Artificers 1921," are to be
complied with in all Sub-Districts where ordnance is mounted for
instructional purposes or to which ordnance stores are supplied.
ANZAC DAY.
Anzac Day will be observed on Tuesday, 25th April,
to Navy Order No. 143 of 1921 in this connexion.

NAVAL ARMAMENT STORES FOR SIGNALLING PURPOSES
SUPPLIED TO FLEET AUXILIARIES, DOCKYARD CRAFT, ETC.
With reference to Admiralty Fleet Order 2044/21, the proportion of Naval
Armament Stores laid down therein is approved for adoption in the R.A.N.
2. The stores will be supplied on demand so far as supplies are available.
Deputy Armament Supply Officer, Sydney, should make provision for
obtaining the balance of stores required in the next annual demand.
3. The classification of the various vessels for the purpose is as follows :—

ALLOWANCE OP TYPEWRITERS TO H.M.A. SHIPS.
The following establishment of typewriters is laid down for H.M.A. Ships,
R.A.N. College, and Flinders Naval Depot.
2. Any machines on board H.M.A. Ships in excess of, or not allowed by,
this establishment are to be returned to the Naval Store Officer, Sydney :—

RATLWAY AND STEAMER WARRANTS.
The attention of all officers authorized to- issue railway warrants is drawn
to the necessity for indorsing thereon the age of the person travelling in
such cases where concessions on account of age are obtainable from the various
Railway Departments.
In cases where concessions are granted to students at educational establishments
proceeding on or returning from leave, it should also be ascertained
whether similar concessions are available to Cadet Midshipmen attending
R.A.N. College, and boys under instruction on the Boys' Training Ship.
The District Naval Officer in each State is to forward to Navy Office as
soon as possible details of concessions allowed by the local Railway Department
on account of age, and also whether any further concessions are made
in the cases of Cadet Midshipmen attending the R.A.N. College or boys under
instruction in the Boys' Training Ship. On receipt of this information a
further Navy Order embodying same will be issued.
