their work as juniors and begin an area of concentration at the senior transfer<br />

institution. Because the AFA curriculum standard includes only 28 semester<br />

hour credits for general education, AFA students who transfer must meet the<br />

general education requirements of the receiving institution. Within the<br />

degree program, the institution shall include opportunities for the<br />

achievement of competence in reading, writing, oral communication,<br />

fundamental mathematical skills, and the basic use of computers.<br />
