their work as juniors and begin an area of concentration at the senior transfer
institution. Because the AFA curriculum standard includes only 28 semester
hour credits for general education, AFA students who transfer must meet the
general education requirements of the receiving institution. Within the
degree program, the institution shall include opportunities for the
achievement of competence in reading, writing, oral communication,
fundamental mathematical skills, and the basic use of computers.
