COE-131 GCM Co-Op Work Experience III 1 (0-10) F
Prerequisites: COE-121
Corequisites: None
This course provides work experience with a college-approved employer in an area
related to the student’s program of study. Emphasis is placed on integrating
classroom learning with related work experience. Upon completion, students should
be able to evaluate career selection, demonstrate employability skills, and
satisfactorily perform work-related competencies. Approved situations will include
golf courses within ten (10) miles of Sandhills Community College. (1997 SU)
COE-131 LSG Co-Op Work Experience III 1 (0-10) F
Prerequisites: COE-121
Corequisites: HOR-268, HOR-235, LSG-231
This course provides work experience at Sandhills Horticultural Gardens under the
supervision of the SCC faculty in areas related to the student's program of study.
Emphasis is placed on integrating classroom learning with related work experience.
Upon completion, students should be able to evaluate career selection, demonstrate
employability skills, and satisfactorily perform work-related competencies. Students
will be assigned projects in college greenhouses and on campus property. (1997 SU)
