<strong>College</strong> Credit for <strong>College</strong> Tech Prep Students<br />

Students who successfully completed high school <strong>College</strong> Tech Prep courses<br />

with a grade of B or higher in the course and a score of 93 or higher on the<br />

course post-assessment may receive credit for <strong>Sandhills</strong> <strong>Community</strong> <strong>College</strong><br />

courses that cover the same content or skills development as identified in the<br />

North Carolina High School <strong>to</strong> <strong>Community</strong> <strong>College</strong> Articulation Agreement.<br />

For some college courses, students must also demonstrate mastery of course<br />

knowledge and skills by passing an examination administered by college<br />

personnel. To receive articulated credit, students must enroll in the<br />

community college within two years of their high school graduation date.<br />

Credit for Experiential Learning<br />

Students enrolled in degree, certificate, or diploma programs that have had<br />

career experience that they believe duplicates that required for a course may<br />

apply for credit by contacting the Direc<strong>to</strong>r of Records and Registration and<br />

requesting the form on which the students will document the career<br />

experience. The Direc<strong>to</strong>r of Records and Registration assesses the career<br />

experience in consultation with faculty in a program and the Dean of
