Hospitality Club<br />

This organization is comprised of Hotel/Restaurant Management and<br />

Culinary students, who plan activities <strong>to</strong> raise funds for students in need, <strong>to</strong><br />

develop and <strong>to</strong> promote fellowship among the members, <strong>to</strong> offer careerenhancing<br />

experiences and <strong>to</strong> provide opportunities for students <strong>to</strong> network<br />

with professionals in their field.<br />

Human Services Club<br />

The purpose of this organization is <strong>to</strong> support the activities and projects of<br />

SCC; <strong>to</strong> further civic, campus, professional and social activities of interest <strong>to</strong><br />

its members; and <strong>to</strong> promote community awareness through service.<br />

Intramurals<br />

The Intramural Sports Program at <strong>Sandhills</strong> is designed <strong>to</strong> serve the<br />

recreational needs of current students. The program offers a variety of sports<br />

and activities for every type of student. Intramurals bring <strong>to</strong>gether the entire<br />

campus community <strong>to</strong> participate in friendly athletic competition.<br />

Medical Lab Technology (MLT) Club<br />

The purpose of the MLT Club is <strong>to</strong> provide a support network and study<br />

<strong>to</strong>ols for all current students, both 1st and 2nd year. We also wish <strong>to</strong> give<br />

new program applicants a realistic picture of what is going <strong>to</strong> be expected of<br />

them as students. We will strive <strong>to</strong> raise general awareness of the program<br />

and profession. While this is an educational club, we also use it as a way <strong>to</strong><br />

build relationships with fellow MLT student that can carry over in<strong>to</strong> our<br />

professional careers.<br />

Men<strong>to</strong>ring, Supporting, Affirming, Cultivating and<br />

Empowering Women (MSACE)<br />

MSACE offers an encouraging platform for students <strong>to</strong> be more than they<br />
