This course covers important landscape plants. Emphasis is placed on identification,<br />

Upon completion, students should be able <strong>to</strong> correctly select plants for specific<br />

This course covers applied production techniques for asexual and sexual plant<br />

propagation. Emphasis is placed on the major accepted methods of asexual<br />

propagation and sexual propagation of woody ornamental plants, with evaluation of<br />

all initiated propagation. Upon completion, students should be able <strong>to</strong> successfully<br />

propagate a variety of plant materials utilizing methods covered in the course. (1997<br />

background, context, and career opportunities that exist within the hospitality<br />

This course covers the scope, responsibilities, communications, terminology,<br />

materials, and concerns specific <strong>to</strong> hotel housekeeping. Topics include management<br />

and supervision of housekeeping staff , proper cleaning and sanitation of rooms and<br />

public areas, budgeting, purchasing, security, and inven<strong>to</strong>ry control. Upon<br />

completion, students should be able <strong>to</strong> understand and apply the principles of<br />
