weapons and <strong>in</strong>flicted damage on <strong>the</strong> build<strong>in</strong>g. Kabul was without<br />

full bus transportation for a good while.<br />

COMMENTARY: The urban guerrilla attacks <strong>the</strong> credibility of <strong>the</strong><br />

government by chipp<strong>in</strong>g away at morale, attack<strong>in</strong>g notable government<br />

targets and disrupt<strong>in</strong>g <strong>the</strong> daily life of <strong>the</strong> populace. The bus<br />

term<strong>in</strong>al was an optimum target s<strong>in</strong>ce it clearly demonstrated <strong>the</strong><br />

reach of <strong>the</strong> <strong>Mujahideen</strong> and slowed <strong>the</strong> life of <strong>the</strong> capital city<br />

considerably.
