NAFORMA is expected todeliver: Training on national forest inventories and remote sensing Determine land use cover changes Determine rate of deforestation Identify drivers of deforestation Produce detailed maps over forest types Conduct case studies to quantify emission factors for different forest types Design a forest monitoring systemIn order to monitor and report, Tanzania needs to improve its capacity on capturing ofrelevant data.
