Year2015 is level-funded with 2014, and from 2016 through 2035 an annual inflation rate of3% is calculated. The statewide items and other programs, such as the bridge program,are estimated using the current TIP/STIP shares and the same 3% annual inflation rate.Additional state financial plan factors have been considered, such as in 2022, where thenumbers increase to higher levels reflecting the repayment of the Grant AnticipationNotes (GANS) for the Accelerated Bridge Program.8.5.2 FEDERAL TRANSIT ADMINISTRATION SOURCE FUNDSIn August 2011, the <strong>Cape</strong> <strong>Cod</strong> Region received estimated available funding for transit intables from the Massachusetts Department of <strong>Transportation</strong> (MassDOT).This Federal Transit Administration (FTA) and state matching funding are allocatedthrough the <strong>Cape</strong> <strong>Cod</strong> <strong>Regional</strong> <strong>Transportation</strong> <strong>Plan</strong> (RTP) recommendations accordingto regional priorities and the funding time frame. The <strong>Cape</strong> <strong>Cod</strong> <strong>Regional</strong> TransitAuthority (CCRTA), whose Chairman also serves as MPO Member, is a direct recipient ofFederal Transit Administration funds. The CCRTA Administrator and its Board work tomaintain and operate services through use of these funds in their annual budgeting andthe TIP.In section 8.3, the various transit funding categories through the Federal TransitAdministration (FTA) are described.
