Fall on us, and us hide<br />

From Judges i [. . .] e, more hot then re,<br />

For who may it abide?<br />

No hiding place can <strong>from</strong> his face<br />

sinners at all conceal,<br />

Whose aming eye hid things doth spy,<br />

and darkest things reveal.<br />

The Judge draws nigh, exalted high<br />

upon a l<strong>of</strong>ty Throne,<br />

Amids the throng <strong>of</strong> <strong>An</strong>gels strong,<br />

LIKE Israel’s [. . .] oly One.<br />

The excellence <strong>of</strong> whose Presence,<br />

and awful Majesty,<br />

Am [. . .] zeth Nature, and every Crea [. . .] ure<br />

doth more then terrie.<br />

The Mountains smo [. . .] k, the Hills are shook,<br />

the Earth is rent and <strong>to</strong>rn,<br />

As if she should be clean dissolv’d,<br />

or <strong>from</strong> her Cen [. . .] re born.<br />

The Sea doth roar, forsakes the sho [. . .] e,<br />

and shrinks away for fear:<br />

The wild beasts ee in<strong>to</strong> the Sea<br />

so soon as he draws nea [. . .].<br />

Whose glory bright, whose wond [. . .] ous might,<br />

whose Power Imperial,<br />

So far surpass what ever was<br />

in Realms Terrestrial;<br />

That <strong>to</strong>ngues <strong>of</strong> men (nor <strong>An</strong>gels pen)<br />

cannot the same express:<br />
