The pious Father had now much rather<br />

his graceless Son should lye<br />

In Hell with Devils, for all his evils<br />

burning eternally:<br />

by sparing him sustain;<br />

adjudging him <strong>to</strong> pain.<br />

Who having all (both great and small)<br />

convinc’t and silenced,<br />

Did then proceed their Doom <strong>to</strong> read,<br />

and thus it uttered;<br />

Ye [. . .] inful wights, and cursed sprights,<br />

that work Iniquity,<br />

Depart <strong>to</strong>gether <strong>from</strong> me for ever<br />

<strong>to</strong> endless Misery.<br />

Your portion take in that sad Lake<br />

where Fire and Brims<strong>to</strong>ne ameth:<br />

Suer the smart, which your desert<br />

as its du [. . .] wages claimeth.<br />

Oh pierceing words more sharp then Swords!<br />
