18 When will your activity start and end Allow enough time for
planning and for us to process your application.
You must take account of the time we will need to assess your
application when planning your activity. We need six working weeks after receiving a
complete application to process applications £5,000 and under, and 12 working weeks
for applications over £5,000.
If you do not give us enough time before your activity starts, we may not
be able to assess your application. The start date for your activity should also include
the planning and preparation time you need. For example, if an activity needs
marketing, you should include enough time to do this.

Applying to tour
If you are applying to tour:
• do not fill in this question
• fill in the preliminary tour schedule form, which is included in this
form as appendix 1 (you can also download it from our website at
www.artscouncil.org.uk), and
• go to question 21.
All other applicants
If you are not applying to tour, please fill in questions 19 and 20. Your
answers
to these questions provide us with important information. We use it to report
to the government, including local authorities, about where Grants for the arts activities
take place.
