Fork, and 140 yards west and downslope from the Beech Ridge Trail; USGS

A1—1 to 7 inches; very dark grayish brown (10YR 3/2) channery loam, dark grayish

many fine and medium roots; 20 percent sandstone channers; slightly acid;
abrupt wavy boundary.
A2—7 to 14 inches; dark brown (10YR 3/3) channery loam, grayish brown (10YR 5/2)
