structure parting to weak fine and medium granular; friable; many fine<br />

and medium roots; 5 percent rock fragments; slightly acid; clear wavy<br />

boundary.<br />

Bw1—6 to 20 inches; dark yellowish brown (10YR 4/4) loam; weak medium and<br />

coarse subangular blocky structure; friable; common fine and medium roots;<br />

neutral; gradual wavy boundary.<br />

Bw2—20 to 38 inches; dark yellowish brown (10YR 4/4) loam; common medium<br />

light brownish gray (10YR 6/2) redox depletions; weak medium and coarse<br />

subangular blocky structure; friable; common fine roots; neutral; gradual wavy<br />

boundary.<br />

C—38 to 65 inches; dark yellowish brown (10YR 4/6) stratified silt loam and<br />

loam; many medium light brownish gray (10YR 6/2) redox depletions;<br />

massive; friable; many fine and medium concretions <strong>of</strong> iron and manganese;<br />

neutral.<br />
