topographic quadrangle; lat. 38 degrees 15 minutes 54 seconds N. and<br />

long. 82 degrees 05 minutes 02 seconds W.<br />

A—0 to 6 inches; dark grayish brown (10YR 4/2) loam; weak fine granular structure;<br />

very friable; many fine and very fine roots; slightly acid; clear smooth boundary.<br />

BA—6 to 12 inches; dark yellowish brown (10YR 4/4) silt loam; weak medium<br />

subangular blocky structure; very friable; common fine and very fine roots; slightly<br />

acid; clear smooth boundary.<br />

Bw—12 to 17 inches; dark yellowish brown (10YR 4/4) silt loam; common fine distinct<br />

gray (10YR 6/1) redox depletions; moderate medium subangular blocky structure;<br />
