3 Mangoes must be treated with a hot water dip at an APHIS approved facility in Haiti. Each box must be marked with the<br />

statement, “HOT WATER TREATED {PLANT NUMBER} HAITI.” The consignment must be accompanied by the original copy<br />

of the PPQ Form 203 completed <strong>and</strong> signed by the APHIS officer on site in Haiti. REFER to the Officer Instructions in FAVIR<br />

for inspection procedures.<br />

4 Papayas <strong>and</strong> pineapples are PROHIBITED ENTRY into Hawaii.<br />

5 See the special procedures for Peppers from Countries in the West Indies <strong>and</strong> from Trinidad <strong>and</strong> Tobago.<br />

6 If treatment has not been completed before entry, HOLD the consignment <strong>and</strong> CONTACT PPQ through proper channels. The<br />

fruits or vegetables may arrive in the U.S. only:<br />

At ports located north of 39 o latitude <strong>and</strong> east of 104 o longitude<br />

At ports that have approved cold treatment facilities (refer to the PPQ Treatment <strong>Manual</strong> for a list of current approved cold<br />

treatment facilities<br />

7 If destined to an SAG location, then require T101-k-2 or T101-k-2-1. If Cydia fabivora, Epinotia aporema, or Maruca testulalis<br />

is found, see the special procedures for taking regulatory action on Beans Infested with Cydia fabivora, Epinotia aporema,<br />

<strong>and</strong> Maruca testulalis.<br />

8 Limited to cultivars of Citrus reticulata (for example tangerine <strong>and</strong> Unshu orange), ethrog, grapefruit, kumquat, lemon, lime,<br />

limequat, orange, Persian lime, pummelo, sour orange, sweet lime, <strong>and</strong> ugli fruit.<br />
