1 Consignments must be precleared and treated by irradiation, T105-a-2 (400 Gy), in Malaysia. The Preclearance Form 203
confirming irradiation must be presented at the time of entry. The 203 should indicate that the articles were treated by
irradiation and include an Irradiation Treatment Facility Code, facility name, and location.
Consignments must be accompanied by a phytosanitary certificate (PC) with an additional declaration stating that the
consignment was inspected and found free from Oidium nephelii..
The consignments must also meet the following additional requirements:

Be packed in insect proof boxes as prescribed in 7CFR 305.31, labeled with the facility name, city, country, Grower/Production
Unit Code (PUC), Treatment Facility Code (TFC), Treatment Identification Number (TIN), Packing House Code (PHC), packing
date, treatment date, and lot number (the information contained in the label is necessary for trace-back).
Be in cartons that are marked or stamped with the words "Treated by irradiation" or "Treated with irradiation" and display the
international radura symbol.
Have the palletized cartons wrapped with polyethylene shrink wrap, net wrapping, or strapping (for consignments in sea containers
only; not required for air shipments because integrity is maintained by the container itself).
