3 Only varieties which are at least 50 percent smooth Cayenne by lineage are admissible. The importer or the importer’s agent<br />

must provide the officer with documentation that establishes the variety’s lineage. This document is necessary only with the<br />

first importation.<br />

4 Requirements for consignments of mangoes from Guimaras Isl<strong>and</strong> into all of the US:<br />

The consignment must be accompanied by a PPQ Form 203 signed by the APHIS inspector on site in the Philippines to validate<br />

foreign site preclearance. Boxes must be marked as “Vapor heat treated under USDA-APHIS Supervision.”<br />

Consignments must be accompanied by a phytosanitary certificate issued by the Republic of the Philippines Department of<br />

Agriculture containing two additional declarations: “The mangoes have been treated for fruit flies of the genus Bactrocera in<br />

accordance with 7CFR 319.56”, <strong>and</strong>, “The mangoes were grown on the isl<strong>and</strong> of Guimaras.”<br />

5 Requirements for consignments of mangoes from other than Guimaras Isl<strong>and</strong> entering Guam or Hawaii only:<br />

The consignment must be accompanied by a PPQ Form 203 signed by the APHIS inspector on site in the Philippines to validate<br />

foreign site preclearance. Boxes must be marked as Vapor heat treated under USDA-APHIS Supervision.<br />

Consignments must be accompanied by a phytosanitary certificate issued by the Republic of the Philippines Department of<br />

Agriculture <strong>and</strong> contain an additional declaration, “The mangoes have been treated for fruit flies of the genus Bactrocera in accordance<br />

with 7CFR 319.56.”<br />

Boxes must be marked, “For Distribution in Guam <strong>and</strong> Hawaii Only.” Mangoes from Palawan are prohibited entry.<br />
