3 Only varieties which are at least 50 percent smooth Cayenne by lineage are admissible. The importer or the importer’s agent
must provide the officer with documentation that establishes the variety’s lineage. This document is necessary only with the
first importation.
4 Requirements for consignments of mangoes from Guimaras Island into all of the US:
The consignment must be accompanied by a PPQ Form 203 signed by the APHIS inspector on site in the Philippines to validate
foreign site preclearance. Boxes must be marked as “Vapor heat treated under USDA-APHIS Supervision.”
Consignments must be accompanied by a phytosanitary certificate issued by the Republic of the Philippines Department of
Agriculture containing two additional declarations: “The mangoes have been treated for fruit flies of the genus Bactrocera in
accordance with 7CFR 319.56”, and, “The mangoes were grown on the island of Guimaras.”
5 Requirements for consignments of mangoes from other than Guimaras Island entering Guam or Hawaii only:
The consignment must be accompanied by a PPQ Form 203 signed by the APHIS inspector on site in the Philippines to validate
foreign site preclearance. Boxes must be marked as Vapor heat treated under USDA-APHIS Supervision.
Consignments must be accompanied by a phytosanitary certificate issued by the Republic of the Philippines Department of

Boxes must be marked, “For Distribution in Guam and Hawaii Only.” Mangoes from Palawan are prohibited entry.
