5.10 Measurement Setting<br />

REMARK: The values can be recorded in the tables of Chapter 3.<br />

Requirements<br />

Emergency stop switch depressed.<br />

<strong>CN</strong>C on.<br />

Utility 5 displayed on the <strong>CN</strong>C screen (see 13.2.1).<br />

Action<br />

Set the following <strong>parameter</strong>s:<br />

Declare all the measured axes in P2.<br />

Declare the poor signal check as active on all axes in P25 and P26.<br />

Declare no servo-controlled axes in P3.<br />

Set the Multi/Divi measurement conversion coefficient for each<br />

measured axis.<br />

Enter the computed Multi/Divi values in <strong>parameter</strong> P11.<br />

Enter the sensor type and <strong>parameter</strong>s in <strong>parameter</strong> P34.<br />

Enter the graduation and <strong>num</strong>ber of graduations in <strong>parameter</strong> P36.<br />

Exit from utility 5.<br />

Return to the «AXIS» page.<br />

If an error of type 210 to 241 (axis fault) appears on the «AXIS» page:<br />

Check the poor signal error (Pin 7) for the faulty axis.<br />

Check display of the axes on the «AXIS» page.<br />

Only the measurement is displayed.<br />
