The practical equation for EMAX is:<br />

EMAX = VMAX x Τ x 11/10/k<br />

Where:<br />

- Τ is the time constant of the position servo-loop (in ms),<br />

- VMAX is the maximum speed on the axis (in mm/s or deg/s).<br />

Coefficient k can take on the following values:<br />

Example<br />

Calculation of EMAX for the axis at physical address 0 (VMAX = 100 mm/s, Τ = 60 ms, internal unit μm).<br />

EMAX = 100 x 60 x 1 x 11/10 = 6600<br />
