Spindles<br />

When the cycle axis enters the deceleration zone, there is first a constant deceleration, then the spindle speed<br />

reference becomes a function of the distance remaining to be travelled to reach the hole bottom. The spindle speed<br />

reference would normally become zero on reaching the hole bottom, which would have the effect of immobilising it<br />

there. Therefore, a minimum speed reference is substituted as soon as the spindle speed reaches a certain level.<br />

Words N1 and N3 define the minimum speed reference for spindles 1 and 2 respectively.<br />

The value is expressed in millivolts. The recommended value is from 50 to 100 mV.<br />

REMARK: Refer to 8.16 (<strong>parameter</strong> P63) for the method used to set this <strong>parameter</strong>.<br />
