6.15 Approach Speed P33
6 - 36 en-938818/7
Category Servo-control
Type 5 Unsigned decimal
No. of words 32
Description
Specifies the maximum speed when passing from one block to another.
Principle
Each word corresponds to the physical address of an axis. The value is expressed in mm/min or in deg/min. The default
value is 0.
The approach speed is defined by the equation:
Va = γ × T
where:
- γ is the maximum permissible acceleration in mm/s 2 or deg/s 2 (P32)
- T is the servo-loop time constant in ms (P56).
REMARK: If the very high speed machining option is present, the approach speed should
be divided by a value of around 9.
Example
Where γ = 1000 mm/s2 and T = 60 ms, we have:
Va = γ x T = 1000 x 60 x 10-3 = 60 mm/s, i.e. 3600 mm/min
This parameter can be modified by a UNI-TE request.
Programme Parameter
Programme parameters E973xx are the image in mm/min of machine parameter P33. They can be read and written
and retain the last value programmed after a reset.
