About the Author Travis F. Doering graduated from Bryant University in Rhode Island with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration and went on to experience successful careers in the corporate world. He has traveled extensively throughout North, Central, and South America to study ancient and contemporary cultures. Pursuing his life-long interest in archaeology and three decades of involvement in Mesoamerican studies, Doering returned to the Florida State University in Tallahassee, Florida, where he earned a Master of Science Degree in Anthropology in 2002.
