Wheelchairs<br />

Audit undertaken January/February <strong>2010</strong>. Number of dirty wheelchairs found. A formal<br />

cleaning system is in place at Rowley Regis Hospital but an overall review of the<br />

cleaning/recording system is required at City and <strong>Sandwell</strong>, as the current system is not<br />

effective in terms of consistency and control.<br />

Patient Dignity<br />

Concerns have been raised both locally and nationally in regard to the standard of hospital<br />

nightwear; the <strong>Trust</strong> is currently exploring options with our linen supplier and working with<br />

the National Design Council.<br />
