SUMMARY OF KEY POINTS:<br />

The report is provided to update the <strong>Board</strong> on financial performance for the ten months to 31 st<br />

January <strong>2010</strong>.<br />

In-month surplus is £258k against a target surplus of £231k; £27k above plan.<br />

Year to date surplus is £2,119k against a plan of £2,163k, £44k below plan.<br />

In-month WTEs are 112 below plan, excluding the effect of agency staff.<br />

Cash balance is approximately £1.8m greater than the revised plan at 31 st January.<br />
