營 業 額 增 加 59% 至 約 864,261,000 港 元 ( 二 零 零 九 年 :
543,429,000 港 元 )。
Financial Review
For the year ended 31st December 2010, the Group’s turnover
increased by 59% to approximately HK$864,261,000 (2009:
HK$543,429,000).
來 自 經 營 業 務 之 溢 利 及 年 度 溢 利 分 別 約 為 41,033,000 港
元 及 24,827,000 港 元 , 而 去 年 分 別 為 251,153,000 港 元
及 164,395,000 港 元 。 大 幅 減 少 主 要 由 於 透 過 Best Mind
International Inc.(「Best Mind」) 於 澳 門 博 彩 推 廣 業 務
之 投 資 之 應 佔 溢 利 減 少 , 導 致 本 集 團 於 二 零 一 零 年 六
月 三 十 日 中 期 回 顧 期 間 分 別 來 自 無 形 資 產 197,973,000
港 元 及 商 譽 8,975,000 港 元 之 已 確 認 減 值 虧 損 合 共
206,948,000 港 元 。Best Mind 之 溢 利 來 自 澳 門 新 葡 京 娛
樂 場 一 間 貴 賓 廳 主 要 博 彩 中 介 公 司 之 一 Ocho Sociedade
Unipessoal Limitada(「Ocho」)。 於 二 零 一 零 年 十 二 月
三 十 一 日 , 本 集 團 並 未 確 認 進 一 步 減 值 虧 損 。 撇 除 已 確
認 減 值 虧 損 之 影 響 後 , 本 集 團 來 自 經 營 業 務 之 溢 利 及 年
度 溢 利 將 分 別 約 為 247,981,000 港 元 及 231,775,000 港 元 。
Profit from operations and profit for the year amounted to
approximately HK$41,033,000 and HK$24,827,000 respectively
as compared to HK$251,153,000 and HK$164,395,000
respectively for last year. The substantial decrease was
mainly attributable to an aggregate impairment losses of
HK$206,948,000 recognised in respect of intangible assets
of HK$197,973,000 and goodwill of HK$8,975,000 during
the interim review of the Group as at 30th June 2010 with
regard to the decrease in sharing of profit streams from
investments in gaming promotion business in Macau from Best
Mind International Inc. (“Best Mind”). Best Mind is the profit
receiving company from Ocho Sociedade Unipessoal Limitada
(“Ocho”), one of the leading gaming promotors at one of the
VIP gaming rooms at the Grand Lisboa Casino in Macau. As
at 31st December 2010, the Group did not identify further
impairment losses. Taking out the effect of the impairment
losses recognised, the Group’s profit from operations
and profit for the year would amounted to approximately
HK$247,981,000 and HK$231,775,000 respectively.
截 至 二 零 一 零 年 十 二 月 三 十 一 日 止 年 度 , 本 公 司 擁 有 人
應 佔 虧 損 為 8,083,000 港 元 , 較 去 年 之 溢 利 204,388,000
港 元 下 跌 104%。
The loss attributable to owners of the Company for the year
ended 31st December 2010 was HK$8,083,000, representing a
104% decrease over profit of HK$204,388,000 in the last year.
董 事 不 建 議 派 發 截 至 二 零 一 零 年 十 二 月 三 十 一 日 止 年 度
之 任 何 末 期 股 息 ( 二 零 零 九 年 : 無 )。
在 總 營 業 額 中 ,725,130,000 港 元 或 84% 來 自 酒 店 及 博 彩
服 務 經 營 業 務 、137,814,000 港 元 或 16% 來 自 博 彩 推 廣 經
營 業 務 及 1,317,000 港 元 或 0% 來 自 電 影 發 行 經 營 業 務 。
Dividend
The directors do not recommend the payment of a final
dividend for the year ended 31st December 2010 (2009: nil).
Business Review
Of the total turnover amount for the year, HK$725,130,000 or
84% was generated from hotel and gaming service operations,
HK$137,814,000 or 16% was generated from gaming
promotion operations and HK$1,317,000 or 0% was generated
from film distribution operations.
