於 二 零 一 零 年 , 由 於 澳 門 之 基 建 發 展 更 趨 成 熟 , 且 可 受
澳 門 博 彩 業 之 強 勁 增 長 支 持 , 就 短 期 至 中 期 而 言 , 澳 門
之 前 景 極 好 。
Prospect
As majority of the Group’s revenues are contributed by
operations in Macau, Macau’s economy will have significant
impact on the future performance of the Group. The Group
considers that the prospect of Macau over the near to medium
term are excellent given its infrastructural development
become more mature and this can be supported by the strong
growth of Macau’s gaming industry in 2010.
於 二 零 一 零 年 三 月 , 澳 門 政 府 宣 佈 , 澳 門 賭 桌 總 數 於 未
來 三 年 將 限 制 在 5,500 張 。 本 集 團 預 期 該 政 策 將 會 限 制 澳
門 博 彩 業 之 間 的 競 爭 , 從 而 加 強 蘭 桂 坊 及 博 彩 推 廣 業 務
之 進 一 步 發 展 。
In March 2010, the Macau government announced that the
total number of gaming tables in Macau would be capped
at 5,500 in the next three years. The Group expects that this
policy would limit the competition among the gaming industry
in Macau and thus enhance the future development of the
operations in Lan Kwai Fong and the gaming promotion
business.
儘 管 香 港 電 影 市 場 狀 況 仍 不 樂 觀 , 但 中 國 電 影 市 場 之 發
展 為 行 業 創 造 新 的 機 會 。 雖 然 本 集 團 之 電 影 製 作 於 近 幾
年 大 幅 減 少 , 但 本 集 團 將 繼 續 運 用 其 在 市 場 上 精 心 打 造
之 網 絡 及 可 靠 之 經 驗 製 作 及 發 行 高 質 量 電 影 。 透 過 投 資
於 與 嘉 滙 投 資 新 成 立 之 合 營 公 司 China Star Film Group
Limited( 從 事 製 作 及 發 行 電 影 ), 本 集 團 可 削 減 電 影 製 作
及 發 行 業 務 佔 用 之 營 運 資 金 並 分 散 所 涉 及 之 業 務 風 險 。
Despite Hong Kong movie market situation remained
unfavourable, the development of China movie market
created new opportunities for the industry. Although the film
productions of the Group are substantially decreased in
these few years, the Group will continue on utilising its well
established network and solid experience in the market to
produce and distribute high quality films. By investing in the
newly formed joint venture company, China Star Film Group
Limited which is engaged in production and distribution of
films, with KH Investment, the Group can reduce the working
capital tied up in the film production and distribution business
and spread out the business risks involved.
展 望 未 來 , 本 集 團 將 對 澳 門 物 業 開 發 市 場 進 行 多 樣 化 投
資 。 本 集 團 購 買 及 開 發 之 澳 門 土 地 及 該 等 地 盤 位 於 絕 佳
地 段 。 該 等 投 資 將 進 一 步 抓 住 澳 門 經 濟 發 展 之 商 機 ( 特 別
是 在 旅 遊 及 物 業 方 面 ), 預 期 將 於 未 來 幾 年 為 本 集 團 作 出
積 極 貢 獻 。
Looking ahead, the Group will diversify into the property
development market in Macau. Both the Macau Land and the
Sites to be acquired and develop by the Group are located
in superb locations. These investments will further grasp the
business opportunities of the economic development of Macau
especially in the sectors of tourism and property and expect to
have positive contribution to the Group in the next few years.
