Property, plant and equipment (Continued)
Depreciation is provided to write off the cost of
items of property, plant and equipment (other
than construction in progress), using the straight
line method, over their estimated useful lives.
The principal annual rates are as follows:

租 賃 物 業 裝 修 20% – 33%
傢 俬 及 裝 置 10% – 50%
機 器 及 設 備 18% – 33%
汽 車 15% – 20%
Buildings 2% – 5%
Leasehold improvements 20% – 33%
Furniture and fixtures 10% – 50%
Machinery and equipment 18% – 33%
Motor vehicles 15% – 20%
並 無 就 在 建 工 程 撥 備 折 舊 。
No depreciation is provided on construction in
progress.
當 資 產 出 售 時 , 其 盈 虧 為 出 售 資 產 所 得 款
項 及 資 產 賬 面 值 兩 者 之 差 額 , 並 在 綜 合 收
入 表 內 確 認 。
